Assam GNM Admission 2025 Online Apply

Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has officially released the notification for Assam GNM Admission 2025. The GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE) 2025 will be conducted on 13th July 2025 for admission into General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) courses in various government and private nursing institutes of Assam. Eligible female candidates can apply online from 13th May to 13th June 2025 through the official SSUHS portal.

๐Ÿ“‹ Eligibility Criteria for Assam GNM Admission 2025

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:

  1. 10+2 (Science or Arts) with English and a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.
  2. 10+2 Vocational ANM (approved by INC) with 40% marks.
  3. 10+2 Vocational in Health Care Science from CBSE or equivalent board with 40% marks.
  4. Registered ANM with the State Nursing Council.

Note: Candidates must have passed English individually. Science stream is preferable.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 17 years (as on 31st December 2025)
  • Maximum: 35 years
  • No upper age limit for RANM/ RLHV candidates.

Other Criteria:

  • Candidates must be medically fit.
  • Must be an Indian citizen.
  • Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) is mandatory for admission to government institutions.
