What is SAMARTH Admission Portal?
The SAMARTH Portal is a centralized online admission system developed by DHE, Assam, to simplify UG admissions in the state. With this platform, students can apply to multiple colleges (up to 10 institutions) through a single application, eliminating the need to submit forms separately at each college.
This digital system also supports better implementation of government welfare schemes, including the fee waiver scheme for eligible students, which is applicable only if the application is submitted via the SAMARTH portal.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must have passed the Higher Secondary (HS) or equivalent examination.
- Only those applying through the SAMARTH portal will be eligible for state government benefits like the Assam Fee Waiver Scheme.

Before applying, students must prepare scanned copies of the following documents (file size: 10 KB – 500 KB; format: JPG/JPEG):
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Signature
- 10th Marksheet & Certificate
